We were established in 1989 with Ger Aylesbury and Pat Dowling as a ‘Video Rental Business’ hence the name Oscars. As time evolved we established the Laundrette business in 1996 and progressing into dry cleaning in 2001. We then grew the business by taking over the Laundrette on Kennedy street in Carlow formerly known as ‘Glanban’ in the early 2000’s and later again taking over the Bagenalstown laundrette on Kilree street in 2010 or thereabouts. In more recent years we have developed into a family run business working alongside The Zipyard in both Carlow and Kilkenny.
